Before looking forward to the New Year of 2020 with all the happy events I am anticipating like beautiful weddings and cute baby showers, I wanted to take a look back and share some of my favorite designs of 2019 with you.
This ice sculpture design was a big hit with my friends on social media last January. I was rather surprised but am tempted to make a new one again this year.
Last year I had a few baby birthday parties and similar events to create centerpieces for. I was obsessed with these “puppy centerpieces” made with carnations. This one was for the first birthday party of my little grandson, Finn.
Another obsession I had last year was making these May Day Mini Baskets.
I absolutely loved this arrangement. There were two mirror-image arrangements that flanked the stone fireplace of the Gibbet Hill Grill in my hometown of Groton, Massachusetts. The event was an intimate fall wedding. I loved working with the pampas grass, Juliet Garden Roses, burgundy dahlias, viburnum berries…I could go on and on.
These wreaths were creations of mine that were inspired by the Holiday Wreath Workshop I lead in early December.
Thank you for allowing me to share some of my favorite designs of 2019 with you. Now it is time for me to start looking forward to 2020 and get my creative juices flowing! I hope you are too!
