Inspirational Floral Arrangements for Spring

I have been working on some floral projects throughout the spring and wanted to share a couple of them with you today. The above arrangement was created in March.

The lime-yellow colors of the roses and alstroemeria I felt looked like March and even St. Patrick’s Day. I loved the cream of the hydrangeas and the white of the mums mixed in amongst the lime-yellows.

The other arrangement that I made last week was inspired by these Bells of Ireland flowers. I could not resist the uniqueness of their blooms and HAD to use them in an arrangement.

I also love lilies at this time of year and I loved the coral-red color of the roses I found at the market.

This March arrangement is one of my favorites I have made this year. I was inspired by the interesting container, as well.

Continuing on with my April arrangement, I envisioned using the Bells of Ireland to create height in the centerpiece. As I worked along I added more floral stems to fulfill the vision I had in mind when I first purchased the flowers.

Do you enjoy the mixture of colors and textures here? The blue Sea Holly added a full dimension of color and interest.

The colors and textures in the March arrangement were more soft and muted~

The April arrangement was more traditional in nature. I think I could have gone in a different direction also, perhaps making the arrangement horizontal and more free.

But, in the end there really is no wrong way when it comes to flowers. The direction is wherever your imagination takes you!
