I know these aren’t the best photos ever but I had to tell you what a great time Mom and I had decorating this little tree for her assisted living room yesterday. She had a rough year because of a fall and, of course, ending up being stuck in a nursing home because of the coronavirus. So it was great having lots of fun with her and seeing her enjoy something so much. This set of mice was something I had given her a few Christmases ago because she has always loved little stuffed animals and I thought she would love them, too. I found the set in storage at her house. She had never taken them out of the packaging. I’m so glad I delivered them to her yesterday because you could tell what delight they brought to her. Swipe to see the finished tree. As I said, terrible pics and all the decorations were purchased quickly at CVS and the Dollar Store but, it came out ok. You’ve still got it Mom ❤️! #spendingtimewithmymom

Yesterday was a good day to hunker down inside and get some Christmas decorating done. Today I am visiting my mom at her assisted living facility and together we’ll decorate a small tree for her room. Should be fun! #christmastreedecorating

Filling my outdoor containers with greens today fo

Filling my outdoor containers with greens today for the holiday season. I am bumming’ that the wreath workshop I usually collaborate with @stamm.black to offer you all didn’t work out this year, for oblivious reasons. Hopefully, we will be back to normal next year. Looking forward to it. I’m bumming’ about the workshop because I won’t be able to see all my wonderful friends create their own beautiful wreaths. I am also bumming’ because I don’t have all those gorgeous greens filling up my shed with their aromas and textures. Just a small supply for me this season. Oh well! Enjoy, everyone! #happysaturday
